Day One in Beautiful Exmouth......

We had heard so many great things about Exmouth and it is certainly living up to its reputation.

The area is home to the Ningaloo Marine Park which protects the Ningaloo Reef. This reef is the largest and most accessible fringing reef in Australia.

So many 'goings on' around these parts. Whalesharks visit here earlier in the year. Turtles are about to start laying. Whales are very visible as they start migrating south. Truly incredible!!

Plus it is just plain Beautiful!!!

First stop for us was the Lighthouse Lookout....

The caravan park where we are staying is to the right of the road where you see the cluster of dark green trees.....

Plenty of whales to see frolicking in the beautiful water....

A lighthouse built in 1912 to explore....

Anyone home Charlie???

Sitting in one of the lighthouse's windows was a novelty....

Striking a pose on an old anchor was entertaining.....

Further down the road we discovered the biggest sand dune which equates to endless fun for kids...

Lots of time spent running, rolling, tumbling, and climbing on this sand 'mountain'.....

Up and down and up again....
To much fun to bear....

Turtles swimming by close to shore and prickly sea urchin shells to admire on the beach.....

A lovely afternoon...

A cute vintage caravan (come office) to admire on the drive home...
