Coral Bay....

Coral Bay was a truly beautiful spot....

It is also part of the Ningaloo Marine park and offers lovely snorkelling right across the road from the caravan park.....

The park was full of  happy WA residents enjoying their school holidays.

The village had a lovely vibe to it......

There was a couple of 'locals' that we enjoyed as well.....

A local 'jewellry artist' who zoomed around the village on his bright yellow beach buggy....
Ella and I became VIP customers much to Frank's dismay...

Down at the jetty we were also able to visit the local resident Groper who was about 2 metres long!!
As Charlie put it..."MASSIVE"!!

He just mulled around the jetty, happy to take any leftover bait.
He was a true sight to see!
One big fish!!

Coral Bay was a hard place to leave...
However, the dolphins at Monkey Mia were calling.....

  1. Wow Megan, I'm only now looking back at your previous posts! Probably should have done this before we visited all these places but I like surprises. And that Grouper really is MASSIVE. I also saw this jewellery and was very close to getting one of his "signature' turtle necklaces for my girl after our swim with the turtle. Great shots!!
