North Tassie...

After leaving Waratah we headed north with a few days to explore a bit more around the north before heading back to the 'mainland' on the 'Spirit of Tasmania'....


The landscape is beautiful..quaint seaside towns and rolling green hills made even prettier by the Poppy farms and the 'Daisy' farms....grown for 'Pyrethrum'.

Pyrethrums are used in conventional and organic pesticides. A natural 'insecticide' which leaves no residue in the environment apparently..

 Just gorgeous!!
