Constitution Dock...

Constitution dock is fabulous.

You can just imagine the vibe that will be occurring here in a few weeks when those big yachts arrive safely after surviving the Tasman Sea.

It was a fun place to hang out for a while....
Yummy fish 'n' chips to have for lunch...

Gorgeous historic buildings to admire...

Lovely old (and new) boats to look at...

And some very obedient wildlife to play with....

AND the most exciting thing of all was that the SEA SHEPHERD was docked and getting ready to head down south to protect the beautiful giants of the sea.

What a great looking boat don't you think??

This boat (the Bob Barker) and the 'Steve Irwin' (which is in Albany, WA) will be leaving in the next couple of days to head south to intercept the Japanese and save the lives of many whales.

I am sure that most Australians feel as angry as I do towards the Japanese and their so called 'research' activities in the southern waters. It is a truly horrendous thought, the slaughter of such amazing, harmless  mammals.

On our trip we have watched the whales migrating and frolicking down the west coast which makes it even harder to comprehend how fellow human beings can be so short sighted and just plain cruel!!

Thanks goodness for the amazing efforts of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and the man at the helm, Paul Watson. Their truly brave efforts are fighting to protect marine life all around the world (seals, dolphins, sharks, blue fin tuna).

Visit the website if you are interested it is truly eye opening to see what this organisation is doing around the globe.
