We went to Pemberton to see the Gloucester Tree.
My Dad climbed it. It was very, very, very, very, very, tall!

Dad coming down the tree....thank goodness!! |
A Western Rosella |
A Ringed Parrot... |
It is a forest full of giant trees called Tingle trees.
We saw a tree with a tunnel and we ran around it ten times.
We walked on a metal board walk that was 40 metres high.
I felt like a bird in the trees.
At Albany, we saw a motorbike race and a war memorial that was damaged by real bullets.
We saw the Natural Bridge and the Gap.
It was attached to Antarctica millions of years ago.
We surfed on Wave Rock and we climbed to the top of Wave Rock..
It was very windy on top of Wave Rock...
Good job Charlie!!
Charlie, I think you're adorable.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're having a marvelous time! Be good to your mother.
When do you arrive home?
What do you think of Albany? It is one of my favourite places in the whole world! I want to live there one day.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a little kid my silly Dad carried my baby sister right on top of the Natural Bridge. We have a photo. I remember being very scared that a king wave would sweep them out to sea...
Where's the pic of Dog Rock? Gotta get a pic of that.
I am so impressed with wave rock! Stupendous- but not as stupendous as Charlie's cool hairdo!
ReplyDeleteWow Charlie, that was some massive tree you were climbing! Love the cool hair do James. I wish I could have six months off school. Homework is such a drag. Have fun. From Benjamin
ReplyDeleteWhat simply gorgeous photos. Hope you're having a wonderful time. Certainly looks like it.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Charlie. I am afraid we didn't get to these places on our trip. Wave rock looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhen we got home from out trip I had our blog posts made into a book using blog2print. I am sure there are other companies out there. It is great to be able to read back over the blog and see the pictures. Yours are so stunning it would be a good keepsake. (sounds like I work for them, I don't)
great job charlie, love your post
